The shares add up to more than 100%. That's expected. One owner can name the brakes and the collision-avoidance system in the same complaint. It then counts in both rows, but only once in the 1,091 total.
Transmission complaints are rare on this model year. Twenty out of 1,091 is the second-smallest row in the table.
Do the complaints show an oil dilution problem on the 2019 CR-V?
NHTSA's complaint records have no "oil dilution" category, so I can't count that problem by name. What I can count is the Engine area. On the 2019 CR-V it shows up in 113 complaints, 10.4% of the total, which puts it fifth.
The year before looks very different. The 2018 CR-V has 2,128 complaints, and 539 of them (25.3%) name the engine, second only to its fuel system. So engine complaints went from a quarter of the 2018's complaints to about a tenth of the 2019's. Those are totals for the whole model year and say nothing about one specific engine.
