BMW prices the 2027 iX3 50 xDrive at a $61,500 MSRP plus $1,350 destination, a total of $62,850, with up to 434 miles of EPA-estimated range. BMW calls it the first series-production Neue Klasse model sold in the US. Here's what BMW has published about the iX3's price, range and charging, on its 2027 model-year page, next to RideTruth's EPA data on BMW's other current US EVs, the i4 and iX.
What does the 2027 iX3 50 xDrive cost, and what's standard?
BMW's newsroom lists the 2027 iX3 50 xDrive's base price at $61,500 plus $1,350 destination and handling, a total of $62,850. That base price includes BMW Panoramic Vision, the car's head-up display strip across the base of the windshield, plus a free-cut central display and a multifunction steering wheel. It also includes wireless phone charging, Digital Key Plus, driver-assistance features and 20-inch wheels on all-season tires.
BMW's price list includes two M Sport packages: M Sport adds $2,500 over the base price, and M Sport Professional adds $4,000. Other options BMW lists include a Comfort package ($1,500), a Driving Assistance Professional package ($2,500), a Parking Assistant package ($750) and standalone items like metallic paint ($650) and a panoramic sunroof ($1,000). A buyer can configure a build online now and reserve it through a BMW retail center with a $1,000 deposit.
What's the iX3's range, and how fast does it charge?
BMW rates the iX3 50 xDrive at up to 434 miles of EPA-estimated range on its most efficient wheel-and-tire setup. The car runs an 800-volt electrical architecture with a peak DC fast-charging rate of 400 kW. BMW says that lets a driver add an estimated 185 miles of range in 10 minutes. A 10%-to-80% charge takes 21 minutes at an 800-volt DC station. BMW also lists the iX3 50 xDrive's combined output at 463 horsepower and 476 lb-ft of torque, with an estimated 0-60 mph time of 4.7 seconds.
How efficient is the iX3 next to BMW's other US EVs?
RideTruth's own catalog, built from EPA's fuel-economy data, lists five separate EPA-rated configurations for the 2027 iX3, running 102 to 118 MPGe combined. MPGe is the EPA's electric-vehicle measure, converting electricity use into a gasoline-equivalent number. It isn't the plain MPG figure printed on a gas-powered car's window sticker, so none of these numbers compare directly to one.
Set next to BMW's two other current US EVs, the iX3's 102-118 MPGe band sits above the iX's and inside the i4's. The i4 sedan, EPA-rated across its 2022-2026 model years, ran as low as 80 MPGe combined and as high as 120, depending on the year and configuration. The larger iX SUV ran narrower over the same span, from 75 to 97 MPGe combined. The iX3's floor (102) already beats the iX's best year (97). Its ceiling (118) falls just short of the i4's highest-rated configuration (120).

The iX3 has no NHTSA complaint or recall history yet. Save a 2027 iX3 to your garage to have it checked for any new recall campaign BMW files.
